Birthday at Magic Kingdom - Part 1

#flashbackfriday to my birthday at Magic Kingdom last summer. What I wanted most for my birthday was to go back to Disney. I'm a native to Orlando but it had been a few years since I had been to Disney. I tend to rotate which theme parks I have a pass to, and it was time to go back to Disney! Even just the drive up to the gate brings up a sense of excitement and anticipation.

They were already decorated for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the end of August. Kind of a surprise but I do love Halloween.

Main street is near the entrance to the park. It really embodies that sense of old Americana.

The first glimpse of the castle was indeed a magical thing.
